| Abstract: |
| The formulation of bonding compound of copper-plated steel cord reinforced conveyor belt was investigated.The results showed that，the adhesion strength of copper-plated steel cord and rubber was increased by the resorcinol-formaldehyde-silica-cobalt system；the final formulation was as follows：NR 30，SBR 70，carbon black N330 45，silica 15，zinc oxide 9.5，stearic acid 1，aromatic oil 4，antioxidant 4010NA/BLE C 2.5，adhesive RF 3.6，adhesive RA 2.4，cobalt boroacylate 1.2，sulfur 2.7，accelerator NOBS 1.The Shore A hardness of the vulcanizate was 70 degree，the pull out forces of the steel cord before and after aging（150 ℃×150 min） were 1 260 and 1 185 N，respectively. |
