Abstract: |
The carbon black was in-situ modified by NR at high temperature by using rheomix mixer to prepare GCB,and NR/carbon black blend(KCB) was prepared by using two-roll mill at room temperature. The GCB/NR and KCB/NR vulcanizates were prepared, and their properties were investigated. The results showed that, the thermal stability of GCB was better and its bound rubber content was higher when compared with KCB;the cross-linking density, modulus, compression set and storage modulus of GCB/NR vulcanizates were higher, and tensile strength and resilience were lower when compared with KCB/NR vulcanizates at the same addition level of carbon black;the fatigue resistance of GCB/NR vulcanizates were better than that of KCB/NR vulcanizates when the addition level of carbon black was less than 60 phr. |
