Abstract: |
The rheological properties of polyolefin elastomer(POE)/nano-calcium carbonate composite were experimentally investigated. The results showed that the shear viscosity and non-Newton exponent of the composite decreased gradually, the die swell and the pressure loss at the entrance of zero die increased, and the appearance of extrudate deterioated as the shear rate increased;the sensitivity of the shear viscosity of composite to the shear rate decreased, the non-Newton exponent increased,in general, the die swell decreased gradually, the pressure loss at the entrance of zero die changed little and the appearance of extrudate improved at relatively low shear rate as the content of nano-calcium carbonate increased. |
