| The effective factors on the water-swelling property of in-situ formed polymerized sodium acrylate (PNaAA)/EPDM were investigated.The results showed that the water-swelling property of vulcanizate decreased as the additional level of DCP increased；the water-swelling property improved as the theoretical yield of PNaAA increased；the water swelling property of vulcanizate was better when the mole ratio of sodium hydroxide/AA was 1～1.2；the higher temperature of water solution，the greater water swelling ratio of vulcanizate；and the higher Na+ content in water solution，the lower water swelling ratio of vulcanizate. |
