| Acrylate(MeAA) was in situ prepared in chlorinated polyethylene(CPE) matrix through neutralization of hydroxide(oxide) and acrylic acid(AA) during mixing.The obtained CPE/MeAA compound was vulcanized with dicumyl peroxide(DCP).The in situ preparation and polymerization of MeAA were characterized and confirmed by the Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) analysis.The water-swelling properties and mechanical properties of the CPE/MeAA vulcanizates were studied. |
