| Abstract: |
| The influence of the addition level and crosslink of SBR on the structure and properties of SBR-modified asphalt was investigated. The results showed that the viscosity, softening point and elastic recovery of modified asphalt at elevated temperature increased as the addition level of SBR increased;the softening point, elastic recovery and visco-toughness of SBR-modified asphalt at elevated temperature increased when SBR was crosslinked;the extendibility of SBR-modified asphalt at low temperature was similar to that of SBS-modified asphalt;although the crosslink of SBR made the viscosity of modified asphalt increase,it made no difficulty for construction;and the chemical crosslink didn't cause the aggregation of SBR in asphalt resulting in poor dispersion of SBR. |
