| Abstract: |
| The research progress on the wear mechanism,wear-resistant formulations and influencing factors of rubber materials was introduced.Macroscopically,the wear of rubber materials is categorized into adhesive wear,fatigue wear,abrasive wear and chemical/corrosive wear.At the molecular-level,wear mechanism modeling and simulation of rubber materials have increasingly become a research hotspot.The current studies on wear-resistant formulations of rubber materials primarily focuse on the development of reinforcing fillers,modification of rubber matrices,optimization of cross-linking structures and composites of materials,etc.In addition to traditional carbon black and silica,nano carbon fillers could significantly improve the wear resistance of rubber materials,and their application research is constantly increasing.The wear process of rubber materials is complex and influenced by numerous factors,including formulations,environmental conditions,friction conditions and contact surface characteristics,etc.At present,the study on the wear of rubber materials is often limited to a single factor.In the future,it is necessary to comprehensively study the effects of multiple factors on the wear of rubber materials. |
