| Abstract: |
| A comparative study was conducted on the properties of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) produced by two catalytic systems, namely EPDM33 prepared based on the metallocene catalytic system and EPDM4045 prepared based on the Ziegler-Natta catalytic system. The results showed that the property differences between EPDM33 and EPDM4045 mainly stemmed from the differences in molecular mass distribution and vinyl content. The properties of pure EPDM33 compound was significantly better than those of pure EPDM4045 compound.Under optimized formulation conditions, the properties of EPDM4045 compound filled with carbon black N550 was significantly improved, comparable to or even superior to those of EPDM33 compound with the same formulation. |
