Abstract:
      Using a microwave activator,the rubber powder with different degrees of activation was prepared by adjusting the activation process parameters. It was then used to produce the low-temperature rubber asphalt at 165 ℃ ,and compared with the traditional rubber asphalt prepared at 185 ℃.The results showed that,microwave activation treatment of the rubber powder could effectively improve its microstructure,significantly enhance its activity,and reduce the process difficulty of the rubber powder modified asphalt.When the Mooney viscosity [ML(1+4)100 ℃] of the activated rubber powder was 45~75 and the solubility was 20%~30%,the comprehensive performance of the low-temperature rubber asphalt prepared was the best.The rotational viscosity,penetration and ductility of the low-temperature rubber asphalt were basically the same as the traditional rubber asphalt,and the storage stability and film aging performance were comparable.The performance of the low-temperature rubber asphalt mixture was similar to that of the traditional rubber asphalt mixture,and the water resistance was better.
