| A sealing system was designed for the continuous casting roll in machinery plant,which consisted of double-layer Y-shaped rubber seal rings(referred to as Y-shaped rings).Through finite element analysis,the influence low of the interference fit and oil pressure on the stress of the Y-shaped ring was obtained.That is,as the interference fit increased,the maximum contact stress of the Y-shaped ring increased at first and then decreased,and as the oil pressure increased,the maximum contact stress of the Y-shaped ring gradually increased.By analyzing the change in contact stress of the Y-shaped ring under pressure,it could be estimated that the fracture failure area of the Y-shaped ring after aging was mainly in the groove area.The sealing performance of the Y-shaped ring using hydrogenated nitrile rubber(HNBR) as the main material and adopting a peroxide vulcanization system was excellent. |
