| Abstract: |
| The effects of five different molecular weight methyl styrene resins on the properties of solution-polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber(SSBR) tread compounds were studied. The results showed that methyl styrene resin with the smallest molecular weight had the best compatibility with SSBR,which could effectively improve the dispersibility of silica and processability of SSBR tread compound, balance the wet-skid resistance and rolling resistance of SSBR tread compound, with little impact on the physical properties of SSBR tread compound. |
