| Abstract: |
| Using ANSYS software, the forces and deformations of the rubber sealing membranes for the single-stage gasholder(also known as dry Wiggins gasholder) during actual operation and lifting(self gravity effect) conditions were analyzed. The results showed that the maximum stress of the rubber sealing membrane during operation condition was about 4.3 MPa,it appeared within the range of thickness of 3.3 mm and width of 300 mm,and the maximun force on the rubber sealing membrane was about 4 257 N.The deformations of the rubber sealing membranes with different coated cord structures and height of 30 m during self gravity effect were less than 0.5% of their total heights. |
