Abstract:
      The influence of the rubber materials on the buckling resistance of the isolation rubber bearings was studied.The results showed that the buckling resistance of the isolation rubber bearing with natural rubber single using compound was better than that of the isolation rubber bearing with natural rubber and butadiene rubber blending compound.The larger the shear modulus and the tensile stress at a given elongation of rubber material was,the better the buckling resistance of the isolation rubber bearing was.However,the buckling resistance of the isolation rubber bearing decreased with the increase of the compressive stress.Therefore,when conducting architectural design,the influencing factors of the buckling resistance of the isolation rubber bearing should be considered comprehensively,and certain corrections should be made to the ultimate instability strain of the supports bearing.
