| Abstract: |
| The effect of carbon black with different particle sizes on tensile stress-strain behavior of styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) vulcanizates was studies. The results showed that, when carbon black amount was the same, the tensile strength, strain energy retention rate, tear strength and tear modulus of SBR vulcanizate filled with N330 carbon black were the maximum, the load, displacement and crack tip opening displacement (CTOD) during fracture were also the maximum. As carbon black amount increased,SBR vulcanizates filled with three types of carbon black exhibited percolation phenomenon, the absolute value of the slope of the stress relaxation curve increased, and the stress softening effect was enhanced. |
