Abstract:
      Rubber material was one of the key materials in nuclear related equipment due to its excellent elasticity,sealing performance and damping and vibration reduction performance.However,rubber materials were prone to aging and deterioration during long-term service in a radiation environment,leading to performance irreversible degradation or even failure of related components,which seriously shortened the service life of nuclear related equipment.This article reviewed the research progress of radiation resistant silicone rubber material,ethylene-propylene-dinen rubber(EPDM) material,nitrile-butadiene rubber(NBR) material and natural rubber(NR) material in recent years,and elaborated the interaction between radiation resistant agent and rubber substrate and radiation resistance mechanism of rubber materials.This could provide reference for the development of high-performance radiation resistant rubber materials and for the design of radiation resistant rubber materials.
