Abstract:
      The superactivated rubber powder was prepared by activation treatment of waste tire tread rubber powder using torque rheometer,and the influence of the activation temperature and screw speed on the properties of the compound of the superactivated rubber powder and the modified asphalt was studied.The results showed that by increasing the activation temperature,the Mooney viscosity and crosslinking density of the compound of the superactivated rubber powder decreased,the tensile strength and elongation at break of the vulcanizate of the superactivated rubber powder increased,the penetration of 25 ℃ and ductility of 5 ℃ of the modified asphalt with the superactivated rubber powder increased,the softening point was improved, and the segregation degree between the superactivated rubber powder and asphalt decreased.When the activation temperature was higher than 185 ℃,the tensile strength and elongation at break of the vulcanizate of the superactivated rubber powder decreased.By increasing the screw speed,the Mooney viscosity and crosslinking density of the compound of superactivated rubber powder decreased,the tensile strength and elongation at break of the vulcanizate of the superactivated rubber powder increased,the penetration of 25 ℃ and ductility of 5 ℃ of the modified asphalt with the superactivated rubber powder increased,the softening point was improved,and the segregation degree between the superactivated rubber powder and asphalt decreased.When the screw speed was greater than 80 r·min-1,the tensile strength and elongation at break of the vulcanizate of the superactivated rubber powder decreased.Overall,the superactivated rubber powder prepared at the activation temperature was 185 ℃ and the screw speed was 80 r·min-1 had better comprehensive performance.
