Abstract:
      A efficient modeling method of the tire section that integrated computer vision(CV) technology and secondary development technology of AutoCAD software based on Python language was proposed,which was referred to as CV-CAD-Python method.A photography platform of the tire section was built,and a standardized process for the automation modeling of the tire section was established.Firstly,the section image of the tire section was obtained through an image acquisition system,and image preprocessing and enhancement techniques were used to highlight edge features.Then,the Canny operator was used to obtain the pixel coordinates of the edge features.Finally,using secondary development technology of AutoCAD software based on Python language,the spline curve connections were made every 3 pixels to achieve automated and efficient modeling of complex tire section.This method could shorten modeling time of the tire section from several hours to 1 minute,and could be widely applied in multiple fields.
