| Abstract: |
| Based on the computational fluid dynamics-discrete element method(CFD-DEM),the pneumatic conveying characteristics of conductive carbon black SP (hereinafter referred to as SP) in a long horizontal straight pipe section were simulated for study. The results showed that at the same conveying wind speed, the unit pressure drop of pipeline in the long horizontal straight pipe section increased with the increase of SP particle mass flow rate.Under the same SP particle mass flow rate, the unit pressure drop of pipeline in the long horizontal straight pipe section also increased with the increase of conveying wing speed. When the SP particle mass flow rate was 0.173 kg·s-1 and the conveying wind speed was 12.5
m·s--1,the maximum unit pressure drop of pipeline in the long horizontal straight pipe sections was 388.41
Pa·m-1.When the SP particle mass flow rate was 0.173 kg·s-1 and the conveying wind speed were 6.5,8.5,10.5 and 12.5 m·s-1,the conveying flow states of SP particles were layered flow composed of three flow states:dense-phase flow, transitional flow and dilute-phase flow. |
