| Abstract: |
| The microstructures, tensile properties, dynamic mechanical properties and shape memory properties of poly(norbornene)(PNB)/styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer(SBS)blends with different dosage ratios were investigated. The results showed that when SBS was dispersed in PNB as the dispersed phase, the compatibility between the two was relatively good, and SBS had an excellent toughening effect on PNB.As the amount of SBS increased, the storage modulus(E′) of the PNB/SBS blend at low temperatures increased. When the temperature rose to the glass transition region, the E′ of the blend decreased. The tanδ peak value of PNB in the blend decreased and shifted towards higher temperature. At the same time,as the dosage of SBS increased, the glass transition temperature of the PNB/SBS blend shifted towards higher temperature, the tensile strength of the blend decreased, and the elongation at break increased. The addition of SBS reduced the physical entanglement in PNB.As the dosage of SBS increased, the shape recovery ratio and shape fixation ratio of the PNB/SBS blend decreased. |
