Abstract:
      The silica modified with different silane coupling agents(KH550,KH560,Si747) were added to a blend latex of nitrile rubber latex and butadiene styrene rubber latex(in water medium) to prepare water latex slurries(dried as the blend),then,the polyester cotton fiber cloth was impregnated with the water latex slurries to make the polyester cotton fiber cloth/rubber composites.The effects of silica modified with silane coupling agents on the properties of the water latex slurries and polyester cotton fiber cloth/rubber composites were studied.The results showed that,after modifing silica with coupling agent KH560 or Si747,the viscosity of the water latex slurries significantly decreased,the stability and storage capacity effectively increased.The tensile properties and wear resistance of the blend were significantly improved.The peel strength of the polyester cotton fiber cloth/rubber composites was significantly improved,the composite could be applied in conveyor belts,etc.
