Abstract: |
Research progress on superhydrophobic rubber materials. To address the issue of surface damage in superhydrophobic materials,a nano/micron rough structure was constructed on the surface of rubber material to enhance its hydrophobicity. In recent years, superhydrophobic silicone rubber material, styrene butadiene rubber(SBR) material, thermoplastic polyurethane material,Eucommia ulmoides rubber material, fluororubber(FKM) material and natural rubber(NR) material with excellent hydrophobic properties had been developed and widely used in outdoor insulation,oil-water separation, ice resistance, corrosion resistance, and sensing fields. These studies also provided reference for the further development of superhydrophobic rubber materials. |
