Abstract:
      The effect of the methacryloyloxymethyltrimethoxy silane amounts on the properties of ethylene-vinyl acetate rubber(EVM) compounds was studied.The results showed that,when the methacryloyloxymethyltrimethoxy silane amount was small,the Mooney viscocity and vulcanization characteristics of EVM compound did not change significantly.When the methacryloyloxymethyltrimethoxy silane amount was 4 phr,the scorch time of EVA compound was significantly prolonged.The storage modulus of EVM compound decreased significantly with the increasing strain when the strain was greater than 10%,the loss modulus was more dependent on strain when the strain was less than 10%,and the methacryloyloxymethyltrimethoxy silane amount had a significant impact on the storage modulus of EVM compound.When the methacryloyloxymethyltrimethoxy silane amount was 4 phr,the shear storage modulus of EVM vulcanizate was the highest,the peak of loss factor was the smallest,and the physical properties were the best.
