Abstract: |
A new environmentally friendly accelerator cerium p-aminosalicylate(PAS-Ce) was synthesized using cerium chloride and sodium p-aminosalicylate as raw materials,and its molecular formula was determined to be CeC7H6NO33·H2O through Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy analysis,thermal analysis and elemental analysis.The rotorless rheometer and equilibrium swelling method were used to study the effect of PAS-Ce on the vulcanization characteristics of natural rubber(NR) compounds.The experimental results showed that with the increase of PAS-Ce amount,the crosslinking density of the compound increased,and the t90 of the compound was first shortened and then prolonged.When PAS-Ce amount was 1.2 phr,the t90 of the compound was the shortest,and the crosslinking density of the vulcanizate was the largest.The calculation results of kinetic parameters showed that with the increase of PAS-Ce amount,the reaction activity of the crosslinking precursor was enhanced,and the crosslinking reaction activation energy first decreased and then increased.When the PAS-Ce amount was 1.2 phr,the crosslinking reaction activation energy of the compound was the lowest. |
