Abstract:
      The circle-ellipse vertical composite microporous texture (hereinafter referred to as composite texture)on the sealing end-face of the internal mixer was set up,and a composite textured end-face sealing model was established.Based on fluid dynamic pressure lubrication theory,the friction performance and sealing performance of the composite textured end-face sealing device of the internal mixer were investigated considering the roughness effect.The results indicated that,under different comprehensive roughness parameters,when the texture depth(hp) of the composite textured end-face was 4~6 μm,the end-face sealing device exhibited good friction performance but poor sealing performance.Under different roughness texture direction parameters,when the hp of the composite textured end-face was 5~7 μm,the end-face sealing device showed too good friction performance but poor sealing performance.With the increase of the texture area ratio of the composite textured end-face,the friction performance of the end-face sealing device was improved,while its sealing performance was reduced.
