Abstract: |
The two kinds of acrylate rubber(ACM) sealing rings were removed from building electrical equipment that had not or had leakage failure, and the failure status was observed and the cause of the failure was analyzed.IR and TG analysis indicated that the composition of the two kinds of sealing rings compounds was consistent.Physical properties analysis showed that the hardness and the tensile properties of the failed sealing ring compound were lower, while dynamic mechanical property analysis showed that the cross-linking density of the failed sealing ring compound was lower. To sum up,the leakage failure of the sealing ring may be due to its insufficient vulcanization degree, insufficient strength, deformation during assembly due to compression and reduced oil resistance. |
