Abstract:
A method for determining the migration amounts of 12 N-nitrosamine substances in silicone pacifiers for infants and young children, the oral exposure mathematical model was used to assess the exposure risk of N-nitrosamine substances in pacifiers. After simulating artificial saliva migration and extraction of pacifier samples, extracting N-nitrosamine substances used dichloromethane as a solvent,N-nitrosamine substances were analyzed using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS).The results showed that the quantification limits for the detecting the 12 N-nitrosamines substances in the mixed standard solution were 0.027~0.031 mg·L-1,with recovery rates of 86.9%~120.0% and relative standard deviations of 4.25%~8.31%.The N-nitrosamines substances with the highest content and occurring frequenly in pacifiers were N-nitrosobenzylamine and N-nitroso-N-methylaniline,respectively.According to the oral exposure mathematical model calculation, the daily intake of N-nitrosamines substances by infants and young children through contacting pacifier was significantly below the tolerable daily intake levels.
