| Abstract: |
| Polyether type and polyester type polyurethane(TPU)/methyl methacrylate-acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer(MABS) alloys were prepared with different TPU/MABS blending ratios, and their ethanol and Iodophor resistance properties were studied. The results showed that after soaking in ethanol and Iodophor for 24 h,MABS exhibited a large number of cracks or even fractures perpendicular to the stress direction. With the increase of TPU amount, the cracks of TPU/MABS alloys soaked in ethanol and Iodophor for 24 h decreased or even disappeared. The tensile strengths of TPU/MABS alloys unsoaked and ethanol and Iodophor soaked for 24 h decreased. The impact strength of TPU/MABS alloy soaked in ethanol for 24 h first increased and then decreased. When the TPU amount was 30 and 20 phr respectively, polyether type TPU/MABS alloys soaked in ethanol and Iodophor had the highest impact strength respectively.Overall, stress cracking resistance property of polyether type TPU/MABS alloy was better than that of polyester type TPU/MABS alloy, and the impact strength was lager. |
