| Abstract: |
| The formulation of the rubber bladder compounds for automotive air springs was studied. The results showed that compared with the natural rubber(NR)/chloroprene rubber(CR) blend, the tensile stress at 300% and tensile strength of the CR compound increased, the heat aging resistance and fatigue resistance were improved. In the trial production of the rubber bladder for air spring, the NR/CR blend was prepared by the traditional calendering process, the expected wall thickness of the rubber bladder produced was about 2 mm,while CR compound utilized a layer core injection process, and the expected wall thickness of the rubber bladder produced was about 1.6 mm. |
