Abstract:
      The adhesive properties between aramid cord and the natural rubber(NR) compound which was usually used for the impregnation of steel cords,and the effects of adhesive RA-65,resorcinol,cobalt neocaprate and adhesive RS on the physical properties of the NR compound and adhesive properties between aramid cord and the compound were studied. The results showed that based on the NR compound for steel cord impregnation,the H-extraction force of the aramid cord was large,but the peeling force was small. It was found that use of the adhesive RA-65 and resorcinol could improve the hardness of the compound and the adhesive properties between aramid cord and the compound. Meanwhile,the improvement effect of the adhesive RS and resorcinol on the adhesive properties between aramid cord and the compound was similar.
