| Abstract: |
| Several performance specialty elastomers with special properties which can been expanded application in the field of non-tire rubber products used under harsh environments in recent years are reviewed.Part 2 of this review introduces the application of hydrogenated nitrile rubber(HNBR) in automotive air-conditioner seals using new refrigerants and long-life automotive transmission belts,as well as the structure, composition and characteristics of new acrylic elastomers, including high temperature resistant acrylate rubber(ACM),typical and performance ethylene-acrylate rubber(AEM) and ethylene-vinylacetate-acrylate elastomer. It also introduces three kinds of newly developed ethylene-vinylacetate elastomers(EVM)—pre-crosslinked EVM,epoxidized EVM and low temperture EVM. |
