Abstract:
      In order to broaden the application range of cis-polybutadiene rubber (BR),polyolefin thermoplastic elastomer(POE) was used to improve the tensile properties and tear resistance of BR,the effect of POE amounts on the properties of POE/BR blends was studied. The results showed that with the increase of POE amount,the t90 of POE/BR blends was shortened,the Mooney viscosity increased,the tensile strength and tear strength increased significantly. When the amount of POE reached 40 phr,the tensile strength and tear strength of POE/BR blend were nearly 1.7 times higher than that of the BR vulcanizate without POE,and the crack propagation on the tensile fractured section was rougher.
