Abstract: |
The effect of natural aphanitic graphite from different mining areas on the properties of natural rubber(NR) was studied.The results showed that the physical properties of NR compound were improved to some extent by addition of aphanitic graphite,but the influence of different aphanitic graphite on the physical
properties of NR compound was quite different due to different mining area,ore-forming environment and composition. When the particle size of aphanitic graphite was larger than 5 μm,the amount of aphanitic graphite in NR compound had a critical value,the interaction between aphanitic graphite and NR was weak,the
improvement of physical properties of NR compound was limited,and there was precipitation of graphite.When the particle size of aphanitic graphite was 2 μm,the physical properties of NR compound could be improved obviously with only small amount of graphite. |
