Abstract:
      Waste rubber powder(WRP)/polyurethane(TPU) blends were prepared by using in situ method with —NCO terminated carbamate prepolymer and WRP as main materials,and the effect of WRP content on the properties of WRP/TPU blends was investigated. The results showed that,when the mass fraction of WRP was 0. 02,the relative molecular weight of TPU was larger and its distribution was wider.With the increase of the mass fraction of WRP,the tensile strength and elongation at break of WRP/TPU blends increased first and then decreased,and the tensile properties of TPU/WRP blends were the best when the mass fraction of WRP was 0. 02. The FTIR spectra of WRP/TPU blends showed the characteristic peaks of TPU and WRP,and compared with TPU,the characteristic peaks of the FTIR spectra of WRP/TPU blends moved to the direction of low wave number. WRP and TPU had good compatibility,and WRP/TPU blends had only one glass transition temperature.
