Abstract:
      The effect of basalt fiber(BF) dosage on the mechanical properties and friction properties of BF/natural rubber(NR)/butadiene rubber(BR) composites was studied.The results showed that as the BF dosage increasing,the tensile strength and elongation at break of the composites with adding BF increased at first and then decreased.When BF dosage was 10 phr,the tensile properties and tear resistance of the composites were better.The friction factor of the composites with adding BF decreased,and the wear marks on the surface of the friction sample were uniform,flat,smooth and small in depth,and the wear resistance improved.
