| Abstract: |
| The effects of silica content and silane coupling agents on the rheological properties of filled ESBR during extrusion were investigated, and the grafting efficiency of the 3 kinds of silane coupling agents was analyzed. The results showed that the non-Newton index of silica filled system was independent on its content at low shear rate. However, the non-Newton index of this system increased with the increasing of silica content at high shear rate. When the silica content was 40 phr,the viscosity and Payne effect of silica/Si747 compound was the highest, and the appearance of extrudate was rough. However, the extrusion temperature stability was better. The modification effects of Si69 and Si75 on silica were not significantly different. |
