Abstract: |
Trans-polyisoprene(TPI) grafted maleic anhydride(MAH)(TPI-g-MAH) was prepared by melting method and then TPI-g-MAH was blended with isopreneisoprene(IR),the morphology and physical properties of IR/TPI-g-MAH blend were studied. The results showed that, differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) curves of grafted products TPI-g-MAH using DCP as initiator presented bimodal distribution, and that of ungrafted TPI presented bimodal distribution.Compared with IR/TPI compound, the optimum cure time of IR/TPI-g-MAH compound was reduced, the interfacial compatibility, the dispersion of silica, the physical properties and wear resistance of the vulcanizate were improved. |
