Abstract: |
The rubber instead of traditional mold was used to form the shell-shaped product. The material parameters of each hardness rubber were determined by uniaxial tensile test, and the rubber constitutive model was determined as the Mooney-Rivlin model. The Polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA)material model was defined as a generalized Maxwell model. The finite element simulation software ANSYS was used to simulate the molding process. The effects of temperature, pressure and rubber hardness were studied on the PMMA molding process. The simulation results show that the microchannel forming depth increases with the increase of temperature and pressure. The smaller the rubber hardness is ,the more obvious the molding effect is., but the thickness uniformity of the molded product will be affected. |
