| Abstract: |
| The effect of silane coupling agent KH570 and WD-10 on the properties of EPDM/MVQ blend was investigated. The results showed that,coupling agent KH570 was much more effective for improving the filler-filler and filler-rubber interactions,but was not good for filler dispersion and decreasing the heat build-up. With coupling agent WD-10,the filler-rubber interaction was not greatly increased,but its long non-reactive chain was believed to enable the steady dispersion state of fillers. It was found that blending of coupling agent KH570 and WD-10 was an ideal way to obtain EPDM/MVQ composite with excellent comprehensive physical properties and high temperature aging resistance. |
