Abstract: |
The effect of three types of carbon nanotube (CNTs) on solution polymerized styrene butadiene rubber (SSBR) was investigated, and the dispersion of different types of CNTs in rubber matrix and CNTs-rubber matrix interaction were explored. The results showed that, as the addition of CNTs, the mechanical, electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity properties of CNTs/SSBR vulcanizates increased significantly, and the wear assistant and compression fatigue properties decreased. In the same amount of SNTs, the tc10 of mixed rubber with Whisker CNTs-34# extended, the tc90 decreased, the processing safety better, the curing speed faster, the torque value slightly lower, the crosslinking density smaller, and the mechanical properties of vulcanizates with Whisker CNTs-34# were best, the increase in electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity coefficient smallest. |
