| Abstract: |
| The design on 245/70R19.5 16PR all-steel truck and bus radial tire was described.In structure design,the following parameters were taken:overall diameter?837.7 mm,cross-sectional width?256.2 mm,width of running surface 192 mm,arc height of running surface 10 mm,bead diameter at rim seat?493.3 mm,bead width at rim seat?215.9 mm,maximum width position of cross–section(H1/H2)?1.03,pattern depth?13 mm,block/total ratio?77.5%,and number of pattern pitches?77.In construction design,the following processes were taken:using hot and cold feed co-extruded tread,using 4 layer construction for belts,3×0.20+6×0.35HT steel cord for 1#—3# belt,5×0.30HI steel cord for 4# belt,3+9×0.22+0.15HT steel cord for carcass ply,Φ1.83 mm bead wire for bead,using three-drum one stage building machine to build tire and double-mold B-type hot-plate curing press to cure tire.It was confirmed by the finished tire test that,the inflated peripheral dimension,strength and endurance met the requirements of the design and national standards. |
