Abstract:
      The application of Domestic environment - friendly SSBR2564S and silicone coupling SSBR72612S in semi-steel radial tire tread compound was discussed. The effects of BR on the dispersion of silica in rubber matrix and the interaction between filler and rubber were studied. Furthermore, the basic properties of compounds and the mechanical properties of vulcanizates were also investigated. The results showed that the interaction between BR and silica is weaker than that of SSBR, SSBR is better for dispersion of silica, and the interaction between silica and silicone coupling SSBR72612S is stronger than that of SSBR2564S; BR can shorten the vulcanization time , And the processability of SSBR72612S was improved with a suitable amount of BR. With the increase of BR content, the abrasion resistance of vulcanized rubber was improved obviously, the elongation at break, tear strength and rebound were improved, while the 300% modulus was decreased. BR can reduce the rolling resistance of SSBR2564S system, but the Wet skid resistance of the two kinds of SSBR system was also reduced.
