Abstract: |
This paper introduces the general situation of Eucommia ulmoides gum (EU gum), the structure and properties of EU gum, the three stages of crystallization and vulcanization. The excellent blending and processing properties of EU gum and rubber, plastic and asphalt, as well as the epoxidation modification and graft modification of EU gum were also discussed. Finally, the application status of EU gum was introduced from the aspects of medical treatment, transportation, communication, national defense and construction. The development prospect of EU gum was prospected. |
