Abstract: |
Fluorine rubber is a kind of polymer whose main or side chains contain fluorine atoms.Fluorine rubber has excellent chemical stability and excellent resistance to high vacuum, high temperature, acid and so on.However, because of fluorine atoms, its polarity increases and fluorine rubber has disadvantage in low tempertature resistance. In order to improve its low -temperature performance,we mixed it with with fluorinated silicone rubber. We chose fluoroelastomer PL958 produced by Solvay company, this kind of fluoroelastomer has free radical reaction site so it can achieve co-vulcanization with fluorinated silicone rubber. Results showed that the blend rubber had excellent properties when blend ratio was 8:2. |
