Abstract: |
Natural rubber (NR)/nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR)/hindered phenol (AO-60) composites were successful prepared in this study. The morphological, microstructure, dynamic mechanical properties and mechanical properties were characterized by DSC, RPA, TEM, DMA, and a tensile tester. The results show that the composite consisted of two phase, there was partial compatibility between the the NR phase and the NBR/AO-60 phase, and the NR/NBR/AO-60(50/50/20) composite exhibited a co-continuous morphology. The composites presented high loss factor between -20℃-40℃and strain range in 0-150% with the increasing of NBR/AO-60 phase, and it exhibited high damping properties which meet the requirement of seismic isolation bearing. Especially the composite NR/NBR/AO-60(50/50/20) which has high damping properties, high strength, high flexibility, is expected to have significant application for rubber seismic isolation bearing. |
