Abstract: |
The effects of ionic liquids on the properties of SBR vulcanizates filled by silica was investigated. The results showed that ionic liquid improved the dispersion of silica and inhibited the formation of filler network. The interaction between silica and SBR was promoted obviously. The curing rate of SBR compound was enhanced greatly, f tc10 and tc90 were shortened. The crosslink density of SBR vulcanizates increased slightly . At the same time, ionic liquids also imparted SBR vulcanizates with higher tensile strength and tear strength. BMI showed better modifying effect than that of AMI . |
