Abstract:
Zinc Dialkylphosphorodithiloate(ZDTP) is a friendly environmental accelerator without producing nitrosamine during sulfur curing process. ZDTP has a good application prospect with the advantages of superior anti-reversion, good compatibility with NR and not easy to bloom. In the study, we investigated the effects of ZDTP and ZDTP/zinc mercaptobenzothiazole(ZMBT) on the viscosity、mechanical stability and thermal stability properties of NR latex, on the curing characteristics of NRL films and on the mechanical characteristics of vulcanized NRL films in sulphur curing system. The Results show that, 1. ZDTP has great influence on the colloidal properties and storage properties of NRL: the NRL prepared by ZDTP has high viscosity, low mechanical stability and thermal stability. With the increase of storage time, the viscosity increaseSgreatly and the mechanical stability decrease significantly. ZDTP has a poorSacceleratingSeffect on NRL films and theScross-linkSdegree of vulcanized NRL films are low, the mechanical properties of of vulcanized NRL films are poor. 2. The blending ratio of ZDTP/ZMBT has great influence on the colloidal properties of NRL: the viscosity increase gradually and the thermal stability decrease slightly with the increase of ZDTP, the mechanical stability reach the peak at the blending ratio of ZDTP/ZMBT of 0.75:0.75; the storage time has slight influence on the colloidal properties. With the increase of the storage time, the viscosity、thermal stability、mechanical stability change slightly. ZDTP has a good acceleratingSeffect on NRL films, the crosslinkingSdensity and the mechanical properties of vulcanized NRL films are high. From the results, we can find that ZDTPShasSgoodScooperationSwith ZMBT.
