Abstract: |
Traditional synchronous rotor was structural transformed from changing the magnitude of spiral angles to make a certain difference between the magnitude of spiral angles of long edge and short edge. Polyflow, a professional viscoelastic fluid software was used to make an dynamic simulation analysis of mixing process of two different types of synchronous rotor’s flow field. The simulation results of transient flow fields model were get through mixing using the two synchronous rotor for 1s to analyze the properties of meshing rotor. The results showed that the improved synchronous rotor retained the original performance had better axial tensile properties, which could effectively improve the mixing effect and increased productivity of internal mixer. This study would provide theory basis for optimal design of rotor configuration. |
