Abstract: |
According to the problems consist in microwave heating vulcanization of rubber, in this paper, the finite element method (ANSYS) was used to analyze and compare the vulcanizing temperature characteristics of rubber in conventional heating and microwave heating. And then, a new method which is heating by microwave intermittently was proposed. According to the vulcanization process, the flowchart of the intermittent heating was designed, and the trend of temperature when vulcanization is heated intermittently by microwave was also analyzed. The results show that the new method can solve the problem such as continuous heating too fast, scorch time is not enough, rubber material model is not well filled and the temperature difference between inside and outside increasing gradually effectively. This study is significative in practical engineering. |
