| Abstract: |
| The functionalized solution-polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber having alkoxysilane group on chain-ends(A-SSBR) with end-functionalizing efficiency up to 71%~76% was prepared by anionic polymerization.The structures and properties of both A-SSBR and silica/A-SSBR composites were investigated.The results showed that,silica/A-SSBR composites exhibited better filler dispersion,physical properties,wet skid resistance and lower rolling resistance than silica/SSBR composite based on the same silica content.In addition,the properties of the silica/A-SSBR composite prepared by the process of heating-condensation between silica and A-SSBR were at their best. |
