| Abstract: |
| The epichlorohydrin rubber(ECO)/ultra-fine full-vulcanized powdered silicone rubber(UFPSiR) blends were prepared by melt blending, and their morphology and properties were investigated. The results showed that UFPSiR dispersed poorly in the ECO matrix on micron-scale; the compatibility between ECO and UFPSiR was poor;the physical properties of ECO/UFPSiR were similar to those of ECO/silicone rubber blends, but its heat aging resistance was better;and the compression set decreased significantly by adding small amount of UFPSiR into ECO compound. |
